The SeaLife SportDiver Ultra is by far the coolest, lightest, and most cost effective housing for smartphones and is completely versatile. The SportDiver Ultra housing enables capture of photos and videos with nearly every smartphone at depths of up to 130 feet (40 meters). It is compatible with most Android smartphones, including all larger Samsung S Series Ultra models and Google Pixel devices, as well as all iPhones from the iPhone 8 to the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The housing allows advantage of the full power of your smartphone’s camera. All of the underwater site photos were taken with this unit.
Cressi Travelight BCD: Lightweight, Compact, and Travel Ready
The Cressi Travelight is an ideal buoyancy control device (BCD) for divers who prefer the freedom of a minimal jacket. Weighing just 5.5 lbs (size M), it’s perfectly suited for travel, folding down to a just compact 8.25in³ (14 x 10 x 6 in). A built-in strap keeps the BCD neatly secured for packing and also functions as a crotch strap during dives (should you require). For added convenience, the entire unit fits into its own carry case, making it one of the most space-efficient options on the market.
Engineered with an anatomical cut and ultra-light materials, the Travelight offered excellent hydrodynamics. Its air bladder is designed for optimal lateral air distribution, ensuring stable and balanced trim underwater. The independent waist strap does not inflate, providing a secure and comfortable fit at all times. I felt secure and level on all of my dives.
Cressi’s Flat Lock Aid integrated weight system offers a quick-release mechanism with spring-loaded clips, making weight management easy and secure. Two additional rear weight pockets help fine-tune your trim. Expanding zippered pockets provide generous storage, while six pre-bent lightweight alloy D-rings offer versatile attachment points for accessories.
Durable enough for regular use yet light enough for my suitcase, the Cressi Travelight was the perfect blend of portability, comfort, and functionality for my trip.
